I am constantly asked "How can I approve my search engine ranking?". There are plently of tips and advice on the Internet and even more people wanting to sell you a service "guaranteed to improve your search engine ranking".

However before you invest any of your time or money (or both) ask yourself  a fundamental question, "How important is a good seach engine ranking to my business?". The answer to this question should dictate the time and money you should spend on improving your ranking. Remember offline advertising could be more important to your business and a better way to drive customers to your website.

I have put together some hints, tips and general guidance, but never forget design your site for your customers not for google. A search engine might drive a customer to your site but remember you want them to stay there and, most importantly, spend their money with you!!
